Oh, the Places We’ll Go!

  • The guide was lovely and incredibly informative. Great way to see the city through the eyes of a local who is passionate about their city.

  • I've lived in LA for 42 years and thought I knew a lot about the history of the city. In reality I knew a little but Damien knows a lot! And my 72 year old father thought it was great too. I highly recommend this tour.

  • Did this tour when I was in LA on business last week. Man, I thought LA didn't have any history. Was I wrong! These tours are so great for understanding LA and getting a handle on the city. If you're visiting you MUST do this!

  • Rob was great. This was so worth it. We live here and I learned a lot. He took his time and really enjoyed the city and sharing what he knows. Answered our questions with pleasure. A real treat. Do it!

  • Fantastic tour! Damien really knows his stuff and it was really nice to enjoy a tour in LA which wasn't about Hollywood celebrities. Recommended for all.

Tour Hollywood in the morning!

We go back in time on our Hollywood tour to when the name first appeared on maps in the late nineteenth century, then we’ll tell you how and why the movie industry moved to this small town in 1910-11, at which time the town itself didn’t even have a bar or movie-theater of its own. We’ll also show you all the most iconic buildings on the famous Walk of Fame, including the oldest house in Hollywood (where Charlie Chaplin’s kids went to school), the Capitol Records Building, the Egyptian Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater, where your Hollywood tour finishes – in the heart of Hollywood.

*Cost: $20 pp OR on “Pay What You Want Wednesday” you choose how much to pay – $10, $15 or $20.

*Walking Distance: 2 miles.

*Tour starts 10.30 am, Pantages Theater (map). We’ll give you info on the meeting point when your booking’s confirmed.

*Tour finishes 12.30 pm, Hollywood & Highland (map).

*Children under 12 y.o. do not have to buy a ticket for this tour.

*You can do this tour with the From Wild West to Now and Historic Core tours.
