When you decided to visit Los Angeles, probably one of the first things that you thought about doing here was checking out the beaches. You absolutely should – they’re a must do! But how are you going to do it? You could spend hours wandering around on your own, probably missing some of the best spots. Or you could let us do the work by joining our Santa Monica and Venice Bike Tour, letting you relax and take in the incredible views as you enjoy the quintessential L.A. pastime, cycling down the beach on a Beach Cruiser.
We’ll have your bicycles ready when you arrive for the Santa Monica and Venice Bike tour, then we’ll head down to the beach. The tour passes by famous Santa Monica Pier, before heading south towards Venice. We briefly stop on Venice Boardwalk, at Muscle Beach, and then continue past Venice Beach Pier to the beautiful canals. There’s a stop on hip Abbot Kinney Boulevard for juice or coffee (depends how healthy you want it to be!), before we head north up Main St, with its great collection of independent shops, cafes and bars, pausing to take in Santa Monica City Hall and the lovely Tongva Park. Your Santa Monica and Venice Bike Tour then ends back in the heart of Santa Monica – the perfect place to get lunch or head into downtown Los Angeles for our Central Downtown LA tour.

LOGISTICS & DETAILS
*Cost: $50 pp adults, $45 pp children 5-17 y.o. (5% of what you pay goes to Climate Cents, a local climate change organization).
*Cycling distance: 7 miles, all flat.
*Tour starts 10.00 am, 1428 4th St, Santa Monica (map). We’ll give you info on the meeting point when your booking’s confirmed.
*Tour finishes 12 noon, same place.
*Bicycle hire is included in the price.
*Children under 5 y.o. can go in a child’s seat, which can be rented on the day for $10.
*When booking this tour you’ll get an email confirmation with a discount code giving you 10% off any of our other tours.
*You can do the Central Downtown LA tour on the same day if you want to explore L.A. more. The Santa Monica and Venice Bike Tour will also fit very well with any of our other tours.

Refreshments/Snacks are not included.
This a bicycling tour. You must be in appropriate physical condition. We cannot slow the tour down significantly to accommodate guests who are not in appropriate condition.
We never cancel tours in advance due to the weather on the day.
You are entirely responsible to make sure you are at the meeting point at the correct time. If you’re significantly late you may miss the tour.
We know your plans can change, but there are no refunds within 48 hours of the tour start time.
You must book in advance.
