On our Murder, Mystery & Ghost tour we go on an exploration of the noir underbelly of Los Angeles – and enjoy cocktails in a couple of haunted hotels. First we visit the Biltmore Hotel, the last place the famous Black Dahlia, Elizabeth Short, was seen alive. Next we go to the notorious Cecil Hotel – nicknamed the suicide hotel for reasons you’ll learn about on this tour. From there our Murder, Mystery & Ghost tour visits the once grand Alexandria Hotel, where Rudolph Valentino’s ghost haunts his old penthouse suite, then the Barclay Hotel, temporary home to not one, but two, serial killers – and whose elevator is haunted by a headless apparition. After that we head to the Halls of Justice, the site of several dramatic trials, including the infamous Charles Manson’s, before finishing at the Los Angeles Pueblo, scene of the 1871 Chinatown Massacre, still the largest recorded mass lynching in American history. We may even see Pio Pico’s ghost in the window of Pico House (we have before). Join us on our Murder, Mystery & Ghost tour and have sleepless nights for weeks!

LOGISTICS & DETAILS
*Cost: $30 pp (5% of what you pay goes to Climate Cents, a local climate change organization).
*Walking Distance: 2 miles.
*Tour starts 6.00 pm, Pershing Square (map). We’ll give you info on the meeting point when we confirm your booking.
*Tour finishes 8.30 pm, Los Angeles Pueblo (map).
*Children under 12 years old are not recommended for this tour (due to the nature of its content).
*There are 2 stops to get cocktails on this tour, each for about 15 minutes. It’s up to you whether you have a drink and what you drink. You do have to be over 21 y.o. to order an alcoholic drink – but you don’t have to be over 21 y.o. to do this tour.
*When booking this tour you’ll get an email confirmation with a discount code giving you 10% off any of our other tours (apart the Santa Monica/Venice Bicycle Ride).
*You can do either the From Wild West to Now or Historic Core tours on the same day if you want to explore L.A. more. This tour also fits very well with our Heart of Hollywood tour and Santa Monica/Venice Bicycle Ride.

Drinks/Cocktails are not included.
This a walking tour. All guests must be in appropriate physical condition. We cannot slow the tour down significantly to accommodate guests who are not in appropriate condition. If you have mobility issues please book a private tour.
We never cancel tours in advance due to the weather conditions.
You are entirely responsible to make sure you are at the tour meeting point at the correct time. If you’re significantly late you may miss the tour.
We know your plans can change, but there are no refunds or exchanges within 48 hours of the tour start time.
