Los Angeles is always changing and nowhere do you see that more than in historic downtown. Thought L.A. didn’t have one? It does and it’s the most dynamic part of the city! That dynamism makes it a magnet for Angelenos, as every day new restaurants, bars, shops and apartment blocks open there. Perhaps surprisingly it’s also the best-preserved historic downtown of any major city in America (with some of the most beautiful architecture in the world, including Beaux Arts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, modern and post modern). Come with us and see a part of the city that not many tourists know yet – the real L.A. We’ll also stop at three really cool, interesting, historical places to get some great Californian food on this tour.

LOGISTICS & DETAILS
*Cost: $35 pp (5% of what you pay goes to Climate Cents, a local climate change organization).
*Walking Distance: 2 miles.
*Tour starts 1.30 pm, Macy’s on 7th Street, downtown L.A. (map). We’ll give you info on the meeting point when your booking’s confirmed.
*Tour finishes 4.30 pm, Pershing Square Metro Station (map).
*Children under 12 years old do not have to buy a ticket for this tour.
*There are 3 stops to buy food on this tour, each for about 15 minutes. All types of diet can be accommodated (vegetarian, vegan etc). It’s up to you whether you eat, how much you eat and what you eat.
*When booking this tour you’ll get an email confirmation with a discount code giving you 10% off any of our other tours (apart from the Santa Monica/Venice Bicycle Ride).
*You can do the Heart of Hollywood and Murder, Mystery & Ghost tours on the same day. This tour also fits very well with our Santa Monica/Venice Bicycle Ride.

This tour is in English. If your English isn’t fluent this may not be the best option for you. We do not offer this tour in any other language at this time.
Lunch/Snacks are not included. Expect to pay between $10-$20 pp for food.
This a walking tour. All guests must be in appropriate physical condition. We cannot slow the tour down significantly to accommodate guests who are not in appropriate condition. If you have mobility issues please book a private tour.
We never cancel tours in advance due to the weather conditions.
You are entirely responsible to make sure you are at the tour meeting point at the correct time. If you’re significantly late you may miss the tour.
We know your plans can change, but there are no refunds or exchanges within 48 hours of the tour start time.
