Want to do a Hollywood tour that has some real history and substance and isn’t all “glitz and glamor” (and doesn’t involve being driven around in an uninsured death-trap on wheels)? On our Hollywood tour we go back in time to when the name first appeared on maps in the late nineteenth century, then we’ll tell you how and why the movie industry first moved here in the early twentieth century (at which time the town itself didn’t even have a bar or movie-theater of its own). We’ll also show you the many iconic buildings on the famous Walk of Fame, including the Capitol Records Building, the oldest house in Hollywood (where Charlie Chaplin’s kids went to school), the Egyptian Theater, the Dolby Theater and the TCL Chinese Theater, where your Hollywood tour finishes – in the heart of Hollywood.

LOGISTICS & DETAILS
*Cost: $25 pp (5% of what you pay goes to Climate Cents, a local climate change organization).
*Walking Distance: 2 miles.
*Tour starts 10.30 am, Pantages Theater (map). We’ll give you info on the meeting point when your booking’s confirmed.
*Tour finishes 12.30 pm, Hollywood & Highland (map).
*Children under 12 years old do not have to buy a ticket for this tour.

This a walking tour. All guests must be in appropriate physical condition. We cannot slow the tour down significantly to accommodate guests who are not in appropriate condition. If you have mobility issues please book a private tour.
We never cancel tours in advance due to the weather conditions.
You are entirely responsible to make sure you are at the tour meeting point at the correct time. If you’re significantly late you may miss the tour.
We know your plans can change, but there are no refunds or exchanges within 48 hours of the tour start time.
